Well, this is it. I go to Australia tomorrow. For three months.
I'll miss my family, and my friends, and my girlfriend, but I think it'll be ok in the end.
I wonder what tales i'll have to tell when I get home. I'm sure i'll end up frantically doing a few entries while in a cyber-café when i'm out there, but for the time being;

LOL, in 48 days time me and my good friend Mr Hurst shall be leaving these shores for 3 months to soak up some Australian culture, and I WELL CAN'T WAIT! Man, it is going to be amazing, sun, beers, beach - but no girls, me and Hurst are both on leashes :D

I'm gonna be a busy-bee before I leave, expect lots of jet-setting around the country! (me driving to Manchester and Sheffield several times)

Life is carrying on in a steady forward motion; Work is easy, Dad is still away 25 hours a day, mum's job seems swish, and my brother has started big school in Brentwood - another laadeedaah private school, so yeah, throw your insults now you bastards! >:o

On music related matters, the latest ETID and Norma Jean albums have been relaying smooth harmonies into my ears.

I don't have much to say really, except work is degrading, but at least it's only for a couple of months and it's piss easy money. And y'know, we may have signed Davids, but the thought of being a Spurs fan again scares me! Ah well, maybe THIS is the season the 'Pride Of One Half Of North London' will actually get off these shabby shores and into that mystical land known as Europe.

So...Now i'm 21. I have to get a girlfriend. I have to buy a house. I need a mortgage. A career. A pension. Take up mundane gym work. Stop binge drinking and abusing drugs.
I have to grow up. Wait. No I don't.

They were days that saw the funeral of one of the most important men of the last 100yrs, a Royal Wedding, a horse winning a big race, and Spurs beating someone, but my Friday 8th of Arpil till Monday 11th April were the best days i've had since I got back from Australia, and probably the best days i've had in the UK for a long, long time. A lot of things were realised on Saturday night. I think we all took time to appreicate just how happy and content we all seem to be right now. We were round Raz and Dave's, who are like a pair of hippies who live in a flat and are two of the coolest, nicest, most genuine people i've met, and Katie, Alex, Hurst, Rz, Dave and I all just talked gobshite for hours. It was great. I realised that in that once little room, everyone I trusted and loved was in the same room, and it just got me thinking. Obviously, drugs were involved, and I don't endorse them in anyway, but;

I liked that. See, writing down what is EXACTLY on your mind at the RIGHT time, can be pretty interesting.

It's been really good weather too. Hurst, Katie and Alexxx and I have just been basically hanging out, in the sun, and it's been grand. We all REALLY know how much we mean to each other now, which is cool. Lot's of people think we're shagging or something, which is funny, lot's of people must have shite lives if they're that interested in ours. So I guess it's flattering.

On Sunday I had lunch with my family, well, one half of it, Grandad, lee and shelly maw and paw, and Brother Jackanory. That was good, all we did was drinking my grandads home made wine, get fucking CUNTED, and laugh at the Cher CD we had playing in the backround.
It was cool. I got my birthday presents then too. It's mainly been money for Australia, my parents said "for ever £1 you save, we'll give you X amount", so that's cool. I got a book, a cup, and a St Christopher necklace, which is probably the best gift I got, aswell as my HMV giftcard thingy ;).

Monday, my actual birthday, we went into town, I bought people CDs and ice creams, we sat in the park, got stoned and had a laugh. We went to Hylands park later, had a picnic, a joint, watched the sunset, met up with a couple of the BBD, then we all sat in my car and talked for about 6 hours. It was really good.

A lot of things have happened, and I can't remember them all, but it's good that way, because i've still learnt a lot.

I feel really content.

Tuesday was GRAND!!
Katie, Alex, Huuuuuuuurst and I all decided, well, I decided, to go to the seaside! We went to Walton-on-the-naze and then to Clacton to see the BRIGHT LIGHTS! it was great, we had pie and mash and got quite hammered :) The bumper cars...hilarity :*)

Last night, I played poker, I won poker, I got hammered again. I do seem to be getting hammered quite a bit these days, but I love it! I think today is day 15 of the bender, but like, I might just keep it going, like i'm going on hiatus from the real world or something. Haha, things are pretty dandy round here, apart from one or two things, but that's the norm. At least now I have peace and quiet and i'm not being harrassed :D It's fucking great not having to worry about women. No offence girls, but sometimes, y'know...y'know

I decided i want a pair of those Berlin flavoured Adidas trainers that I saw in Sole Trader (lol what a play on words), because frankly, they're sex on legs and beat any pikey nike crap HANDS DOWN.

Hmm, I fancy someone :x

Anyway, I had better go and sell my soul to something, tidy my room, read Time, and stove the face of society in.

Aww, ok, the new Weezer song and video 'Beverly Hills' is SO fucken good, it left me with a great big grin on my face for about half an hour!
Last night was good, HUUUUUUrst (who's having girl problems :'(), Katie and myself went out, sat down and got intoxicated, and watched the sun go down.
It was a right nice way to spend Sunday evening.

I can't wait for tomorrow, we're going somewhere tomorrow but we're keeping it a secrret from Katie and Alex JUST for the surprise of Christmas!

I think my mum is gunna get me Reading tickets for my birthday. She asked me what bands i'd go and see if I could and I told her Interpol, Hatebreed or Daft Punk, and she tells me later she's 'bid' on some Reading tickets...This worries me :S

I'd like to go, don;'t get me wrong, but if i don't go ,i'm not gunna be too fussed. The line-up looks pretty pants, but then I would just go there to get HAMMERED for about 5 days. Again.
